Radiotherapy : a key investment

Our radiotherapy unit is used as a reference unit in France and abroad, for complex field irradiation and intra-operative radiotherapy. Major capital investments are required to further improve the quality and specificity of treatments such as three-dimension dosimetry and portal imaging techniques. There are four main therapeutic research area being developed in radiotherapy :

• intra-operative irradiation,
• multibeam stereotaxic irradiation (in collaboration with the neurosurgery unit of University Hospital),
• radiobiology,
• modern brachytherapy (pulsed, high rate, combined with thermotherapy).
