Cancer patients are at risk of developing severe forms of COVID-19. Furthermore, such infection presents the risk of delaying the administration of cancer treatment, hence resulting in a loss of chance in terms of expected efficacy. Vaccination for patients and their close circle, associated with abidance by protective measures, remains the best way to protect them from these risks.
