In the light of epidemiological surveillance data revealing that the circulation of viruses responsible for respiratory infections (Covid-19, influenza, bronchiolitis and other respiratory viruses) is on the rise, and in line with the recommendations set forth by the Société Française d’Hygiène Hospitalière and the Haut Conseil de Santé Publique, the time has come to reinforce rules pertaining to face coverings. These new rules will apply as of 15 December 2023.

For patients

  • Outpatients: must wear a mask as soon as they enter the establishment, and for the entire duration of their stay.
  • In-patients: surgical masks must be worn when moving around the hospital.

For any other person using the premises

Centre staff, visitors, ambulance drivers, accompanying persons, suppliers, employees of works subcontracted companies, etc.:

  • Must wear a mask as soon as they enter the main building, and throughout there presence in the centre (mask must be changed every 4 hours).

This decision may be revised at any time based on developments in the health situation.
