Unit missions

The mission of the Operational Hygiene Team (EOH) is to manage and prevent the risk of infection.

The aim is to prevent the emergence of healthcare-associated infections, whether linked to the environment or to the performance of care.

To this end, the operational hygiene team plays an expert role with the facility's management, department heads and professionals in the field, to ensure that infectious risks are kept under control at all levels and in all sectors.

This role is performed in several ways:

  • working with care departments to make best practice protocols available,
  • collaboration with technical services to ensure a regulatory-compliant environment for care,
  • training for professionals and students
  • evaluation of actions carried out.

The team

  • Nurse hygienist: Catherine DUVAL
  • Hygienic electroradiology technician: Catherine HUYNH

Training courses

In 2019, a total of 687 professionals at the Center received at least one training session on the prevention of infectious risks, for a total of 1,411 hours of training provided.
