Co-organized by the Baclesse Center, the International Center for Hadrontherapy Treatment and Research ( Cyclhad ), and the Normandy Region, the nextinternational conference of theParticle Therapy Co-Operative Group (PTCOG)will be held in Caen–Deauville fromJune 8 to 13, 2026.
This major scientific event in the field of proton therapy isheld in France only about once every 25 years. Its organization owes much to the dedication ofProfessor Jean-Louis HABRAND, who has devoted himself to it with great determination.
The teams at the Baclesse Center demonstrated their scientific dynamism bysubmitting 28 abstracts, 13 of which were selected for oral presentations and 15 for posters. The research presented covers a wide range of topics, from clinical indications to innovative dosimetry methods, as well as the radiobiology of radiation resistance and health economic analyses.
The goal is to showcase this major innovation, developed by stakeholders in Normandy.
