Every year in September, the ELLyE (Ensemble Leucémie Lymphomes Espoir) association organizes ELLyE Days throughout France. These events are dedicated to providing information, fostering discussion, and sharing insights about blood cancers, particularly lymphomas, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia.
In Caen, ELLyE Day will be held on September 29, 2026. It will bring together patients, family members, healthcare professionals, and volunteers for a variety of informational sessions and discussions.
The 2026 edition will celebrate its 20th anniversary
This year, the ELLyE Days take on special significance as the association celebrates its 20th anniversary. The theme of this year’s event, “We Shape the Future Together,” will provide an opportunity to reflect on the progress made, the advances achieved in the treatment of blood cancers, and the prospects for the future.
Testimonials from patients diagnosed 20 years ago will also provide an opportunity to share experiences and assess how care has evolved over the years.
On the program:
4:00 p.m. – 20 Years of Therapeutic Advances
Featuring H. Bardet and E. Reboursière, hematologists.
5:00 p.m. – 20 Years of Research: The Agrican Cohort as an Example
Featuring P. Lebailly, a professor and researcher in public health, and A.C. Gac, a hematologist.
These presentations will alternate with testimonials from patients who have been living with their illness for many years.
6:00 p.m. – Let’s celebrate our 20th anniversary! We’re shaping the future together
