On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, the Pont-L'Évêque Lions Club brought together its members, partners, and beneficiaries in Pont-L'Évêque for its traditional annual donation ceremony.
One of the main beneficiaries of this fundraising effort was the Baclesse Center, which received €1,500 in support. This sum was raised through various charitable initiatives organized by the club throughout the year, including the Tulips Against Cancer campaign, the Chefs' Soup, and numerous spontaneous donations.
Solidarity initiatives supporting research and patients
Through this initiative, the Pont-L’Évêque Lions Club reaffirms its commitment to local solidarity and its support for local associations. The club also emphasizes the importance of collective action in responding to major public health challenges.
This €1,500 donation will support projects led by the BioTICLA research team, which is working at the Baclesse Center to develop new scientific approaches to fighting cancer.
The Baclesse Center would like to extend its warmest thanks to the Pont-L’Évêque Lions Club for their loyal and valuable support, which makes a real difference to patients, their families, and cancer research.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
