Treated cancers
Primary Cancer Unknown (PCU) refers to a heterogeneous group of cancers whose initial tumor, or primary site, cannot be identified despite a complete diagnostic workup. These cancers manifest as metastases detected in the body, but the starting point of the disease remains unknown at the time of diagnosis.
