The "Reboob" project was created by student Margot MORCEL, in partnership with the Centre François Baclesse and the Calvados committee of the Ligue contre le cancer, as part of her end-of-study project in fashion design. The aim is to create a fashion show to be presented in October. Alongside this event, the aim is to raise funds which will be donated directly to the two organizations.

Reboob, the story of a project that links Pink October to the world of fashion.

Reboob presents a fashion show in the color pink, retracing the journey of people affected by breast cancer, but not only ... it's also an opportunity for the future designer to present her creations, inspired by her optimistic universe and imagined to be environmentally friendly.
The designer's wish is to highlight people who have a close or distant link with this disease. That's why the models will only be people affected by cancer, either members of the Baclesse nursing staff or active in the cause.

Reboob is also a " SEINbolic " name
A subtle blend of the two worlds.
The "Re" stands for :

  • "Recycle"
  • "Revalue"
  • "Rebuild"
  • "Start over"
  • "Rehabilitate"
  • "Feasible"
, and "Boob," which in English means breasts.

In order to make this project a success, a collection of clothes and objects is being organized, from 29/08 to 16/09/2022.

What is collected?

Items collected must be pink and/or white ONLY and must be from the following list:

  • All types of clothing and underwear
  • All types of fabric (except upholstery)
  • All haberdashery items (buttons, ribbons, etc.)
  • Wigs (from disguises, for example, ...)
  • Nail polish

The right thing to do when dropping off items at a collection point.

As long as they are pink and reusable, they will be recycled.
To facilitate logistics, a few instructions should be followed:

  • Deposit clean items
  • Place them in a well-sealed bag
  • Check that they are not wet or damp, as they could become mouldy and contaminate the entire collection.
