Department tasks
The in-house pharmacy (PUI) provides :
- Managing, supplying and dispensing sterile drugs and medical devices to hospitalized patients.
- Dispensing to non-hospitalized patients, experimental drugs and retrocedible drugs unavailable in community pharmacies.
- Preparing injectable anticancer drugs and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Clinical pharmacy activities: analysis of drug prescriptions, drug conciliation, consulation of first-time oral chemotherapy prescriptions.
The team
It is made up of 25 people: pharmacists, dispensing chemists, management assistants, logistics staff and pharmacy students.

Training courses
Every year, pharmacists take part in several training programs for continuing professional development organized by the Centre François Baclesse, at conferences and seminars reserved for healthcare professionals and at the UFR des Sciences Pharmaceutiques.
Practical information for patients:
Some drugs are only available in hospital. If one of the drugs prescribed by your oncologist is affected, bring your prescription to the Pharmacy Monday to Friday (except public holidays) from 9am to 4:30pm.
