PCR Level 2
Thanks to its particularly high-performance equipment in the medical field, the Centre François Baclesse is a partner of the UFR des Sciences de Université de Caen for the implementation of Level 2 "Competent Person in Radiation Protection" (PCR) training, alongside GIP CYCERON.
This training is compulsory for all employees who have to act as radiation protection advisors to their teams.
PCR trainees enrolled in the medical sector benefit from a day's access to sealed source/X-ray generator facilities, as well as theoretical input from the Center's radiophysical PCRs.
The Center organizes tutorials and practical work under conditions close to those of normal practice, in order to test the entire radiation protection system intrinsically linked to this practice.
