A remarkable gesture of solidarity took place on Friday August 23 at Jardin Bleuenn, where Michel and Marie-Christine Poirier welcomed Hermeline Delepouve, Director of Communications and Patronage at Caen's Centre François Baclesse. Following her visit, a cheque for €500 was presented to Mrs. Delepouve, a sum generously collected thanks to visitors to the garden over the summer.

Le Jardin Bleuenn, a true haven of peace in La Ferté-Macé, is the work of passion of its owners, Michel and Marie-Christine Poirier. Covering some 1,000 m², the garden is home to over six hundred species of plants and shrubs. What makes it all the more surprising is that it's located in a housing estate! It opened its doors to the public during the Ministry of Culture's annual "rendez-vous" in May and June, on the theme of the five senses. The event attracted many nature and botany enthusiasts, who were delighted to discover this enchanting place.

The sum raised, €500, was presented to Hermeline Delepouve during her visit on August 23. "This sum will be divided between the Centre's therapeutic garden and our research teams," said Ms Delepouve, warmly thanking the garden's owners and all visitors for their generosity.

This partnership between a private garden and a cancer center illustrates a wonderful synergy between nature and health, combining efforts to offer patients greater well-being.
