May 28 marked the official launch of the Unicancer Network’s Paramedical Research Group, with the signing of its charter in the presence of several key figures from the fields of research and healthcare.
Among them was François Gernier, Research Coordinator in Nursing and PhD candidate at the Baclesse Center, who represented our institution at this major event.
This new group aims to establish and develop a national healthcare research program focused on the experiences, needs, and quality of life of cancer patients.
Five main areas will guide its work:
Evaluation of Care Practices and Patient Care Pathways
- Quality of Life, Symptoms, and Side Effects
- Development of Personalized Supportive Care
- Impact of Organizational and Digital Innovations
- Promoting Innovative Research Projects in Healthcare
A nationwide initiative to strengthen the role of paramedical research in oncology and bring about tangible improvements in patient care pathways.
