From Friday 26 November to Tuesday 30 November 2021, the François Baclesse Centre will host the annual congress of the European Society for Radiation Research: ERRS 2021.
The François Baclesse Centre was chosen as the venue for this congress, given its capacity to accommodate the event and its involvement in innovative developments in the application of ionising radiation, in this case in health. It is of course also the existence of the ARCHADE scientific programme and the presence of GANIL in Caen that drew attention to Normandy.
The Congress will be an opportunity to discuss challenges and share knowledge and experience, to discover new research frontiers and to generate new ideas, plans and collaborations.
We expect about 100 researchers from all over Europe and some countries outside Europe to participate in this congress.
The congress will be opened by Prof. Roberto ORECCHIA, Department of Radiation Oncology, IEO Milan, Italy. International speakers will address the congress during the three days.
The local organising committee of this congress, placed under the presidency of Pr Siamak HAGHDOOST, from the University of Caen, is composed of 17 researchers, including Pr Jacques BALOSSO and Dr Mathieu CESAIRE from the François Baclesse Centre.
