On the occasion of October Rose, the young company "Aux Douceurs du Bocage", located in Épinay-sur-Odon, presented a donation of €300 to the Centre Baclesse in support of breast cancer research.
Aux Douceurs du Bocage: a committed local company
Founded in late 2023 by Anthony DENIEL and Aurélie LEFEVRE, Aux Douceurs du Bocage opened its store in Épinay-sur-Odon on October 4, 2024. Their artisanal business is well established in the region, supplying some fifteen local stores and taking an active part in various local markets and festivals.
Their home-made products include chocolates, fruit jellies, viennoiseries made with Isigny butter, and a wide range of pastries. As part ofPink October 2024, Anthony and Aurélie have decided to get involved by creating pink macaroons for the occasion.
To raise funds, €1 was donated to the Centre Baclesse for each Pink October button or bag of pink meringues purchased. This initiative not only raised funds, but also raised public awareness of the importance of breast cancer screening.
As well as selling their products, Aux Douceurs du Bocage is actively involved in the local community, supporting important causes such as cancer research. Their support for Pink October is an excellent example of local solidarity.
