On Thursday April 24, 2025, the Centre Baclesse organized, in collaboration with the Association Sportive du Golf de Caen la Mer, the 4ᵉ edition of the Trophée Baclesse - "Let's improve patients' quality of life!".
124 players mobilized on the superb Caen la Mer golf course to support cancer patients' supportive care.
At the end of the day, a cheque for €2,645 - corresponding to playing fees and donations collected from players - was presented to the Centre by Mr Laurent HUET, President of the Association Sportive du Golf de Caen la Mer, to Pr Roman ROUZIER, General Manager of the Centre Baclesse.
Thanks to the support of numerous other donors and partners, the total raised reached €11,500. This exceptional result will be used to finance a hospital biography project, a humane and therapeutic approach that offers patients the opportunity to pass on their life story. The project is currently being discussed by the French National Assembly with a view to its recognition as a fully-fledged form of supportive care.
