The Réseau des Etablissements de Santé pour la Prévention des Addictions(RESPADD) recognizes the Centre François Baclesse's involvement in the "Place de Santé Sans Tabac" strategy.
In fact, RESPADD awarded us the Silver level following the "Lieu de santé sans tabac 2019" audit.
The Centre de lutte contre le cancer François Baclesse is one of only 4 healthcare establishments in France to have been awarded Silver status, and the first in the Normandy region.
The level of performance achieved by our plant has been assessed against these standards:
- tobacco-free strategy governance and commitment,
- communication,
- initial and continuing training,
- identification, diagnosis and support for smoking cessation,
- tobacco-free environment,
- healthy workplace,
- community involvement, tobacco control,
- monitoring and evaluation of its actions.
Our future objective is therefore to reinforce the actions we have undertaken to aim for the "Gold level", or even the "Gold Forum", a global status that recognizes healthcare establishments that have implemented a high-level "Smoke-free health workplace" strategy, in line with international standards.
