Visits to hospitalized patients: authorized once again
From February 22, 2022
Following the favorable evolution of the epidemic and as part of an overall easing of the associated constraints, the management of the Centre Baclesse has decided to lift the ban on visits to hospitalized patients as of February 22, 2022. Family lounges have also been reopened on hospital floors.
- Visits are permitted daily from 1pm to 8pm on hospital wards,
- EXCEPT in the protected area on the 7th floor: NO VISITS PERMITTED.
For health and safety reasons:
- It is compulsory to wear a mask in the room,
- In single rooms: maximum 2 visitors at the same time,
- In double rooms: only 1 visitor per patient at the same time.
What proof do I need to obtain a valid health pass?
In application of the Law of November 10, 2021 on health crisis management.
You need one of these documents:
- Certificate of vaccination (with complete initial schedule less than 6 months old or booster)
- Positive test result attesting to recovery (i.e. more than 11 days and less than 6 months old)
- Negative screening test less than 24 hours old (by RT-PCR or antigen or pharmacist-supervised self-test)
- Medical certificate of contraindication to temporary or permanent vaccination
For patients
Patients admitted on an emergency basis are not subject to the health pass requirements. All other patients admitted for scheduled care are subject to the provisions of the law. They must present their health pass at the screening point set up at the entrance to the Center.
For accompanying persons and visitors
In application of the law, accompanying persons and visitors are required to present their health pass at screening points when entering the Centre François Baclesse, in the interests of health protection.
Barrier gestures: always mandatory inside the Center
Even with a valid sanitary pass, compliance with barrier gestures remains mandatory. In other words:
- Wear a surgical mask (change every 4 hours).
- Hand rubbing with hydroalcoholic gel upon entry, then repeatedly throughout the facility.
- Social distance of at least 1 meter.
Do you have a COVID symptom?
You are a patient at the Centre François Baclesse WITH symptoms AND you have an appointment at the Centre within 15 days, even if you have been vaccinated:
BEFORE you come, do a virological PCR test,
Report the result to the department where you are being treated. A doctor at the Center will then advise you on what to do.
For safety reasons, visitors and accompanying persons with symptoms of COVID-19 (fever or feverish feeling, cough, headache, fatigue, sore throat, loss of taste or smell) are not allowed to enter the facility.
Accompanying a patient
- NO ACCOMPANIERS with patients during their chemotherapy sessions(except for medical reasons).
- In all other situations: only 1 accompanying person per patient.
Provisions concerning ambulance drivers
- Ambulance drivers accompany patients who need it to their department of care,
- Then they must leave the department and wait outside the establishment,
- They are authorized to join the patient on the ward when they are called for the patient's return.
