As part of the "Pink October" campaign, the Creative Leisure section of Groupe BPCE in Caen, comprising around ten members including Patricia GILLES and Nadège DEMISSY, joined forces to support the Baclesse Center.

Mobilization for Pink October

Encouraged by Patricia GILLES and Nadège DEMISSY, members of the section made various handmade creations, which were sold at a market organized within the company as part of "Pink October." The aim of this market was to raise awareness among their colleagues about the fight against breast cancer while raising funds for research at the Baclesse Center. In addition to their personal creations, the two employees also bought roses, which were then resold within the company.

To complement their initiative, an online kitty was set up, enabling all employees to contribute to this important cause. Thanks to the generosity of employees and a matching contribution from BPCE's management, the target was more than met. This additional financial support raised a total of 3,470 euros, a donation which was handed over on Tuesday December 3 to Hermeline DELEPOUVE, Communications and Fundraising Manager, and Géraldine PAYEN, Donor Relations Officer, at the Centre BACLESSE.

Warm thanks

A huge thank you to Patricia GILLES and Nadège DEMISSY for their commitment to the Centre Baclesse over the past 3 years. Their ongoing mobilization has enabled us to reach a wider public and amplify the impact of this solidarity initiative.

Many thanks also to the management of BPCE, whose matching funds played a key role in the success of this initiative. This great success would not have been possible without the involvement and solidarity of each and every BPCE employee.
