To mark Pink October, the Comité de Jumelage d'Equemauville (14) organized a 5 km pink walk on Saturday October 21, 2023, in aid of the Centre Baclesse.
By 10 a.m., more than fifty people dressed in pink had gathered at the Bois du Breuil in Equemauville for this solidarity walk, with all proceeds going to the Centre Baclesse in support of breast cancer research. Despite the rainy weather, smiles and good cheer punctuated the morning, which ended with a warm and comforting snack.
Thanks to this fine mobilization, on Thursday January 11, 2024, Christiane FABLET and Marina BOSQUER, from the Comité de Jumelage, came to present a donation of €1,200 to Hermeline DELEPOUVE, Communications and Fundraising Manager, and Géraldine PAYEN, Donations and Donor Relations Officer. This contribution will speed up research into breast cancer.
