The Centre François Baclesse would like to express its gratitude to the Hôtel Spa du Béryl and the Casino de Bagnoles-de-l'Orne for their magnificent support in the fight against breast cancer, and for funding research and supportive care. Thanks to their commitment during the month of October, these essential funds will enable us to continue advancing our projects.
Since 2022, Hôtel Spa du Béryl has been mobilizing every year during the month of October to support Operation Pink October, a campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer screening. For every stay booked during this month, €7 was donated to our Pink October fund, in aid of breast cancer research. This year, thanks to this initiative, the hotel generously raised €2,700 for our center.
The hotel also offered twelve wellness workshops, some of which raised additional funds. These workshops brought together many participants, who contributed to a fine fund-raising effort in support of supportive care at the Centre Baclesse. Many thanks to Julie Lebreton, accommodation manager, and Myriam Moulin, spa manager, for their unfailing commitment.
The JOA Casino in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne has also answered the call by actively supporting our center with a donation of €1,600. This generous gesture testifies to the establishment's commitment to the cause of cancer and to funding research into new treatments.
