The "La Petit'Escale" and "L'Escale" restaurants in Carentan-Les -Marais (50) joined forces in October to support the fight against breast cancer, by taking an active part in the "Octobre Rose" campaign.
Throughout the month, these establishments offered their customers an alcohol-free pink cocktail, a symbol of solidarity and awareness of this important cause.
For Marco LEFAUCONNIER, owner of the Petit'Escale, this operation was of particular importance. "It was essential for me to contribute to this cause, not only to raise public awareness, but also to help improve the comfort of patients at the Centre Baclesse", he explains.
This fine initiative raised the sum of €310, which was proudly donated to the Centre Baclesse by Mario LEFAUCONNIER and his mother, Karine LEFAUCONNIER . The donation was earmarked for the support care department, to improve the comfort and quality of life of patients during their treatment.
The restaurateurs and their customers thus rallied around a common goal: to bring a little comfort and solidarity to those affected by cancer.
