Normandie Pharma has been supporting Pink October for several years, working alongside the Centre Baclesse in the fight against breast cancer.
To mark Pink October 2023, pharmacies in the Normandie Pharma network have once again mobilized to raise awareness of breast cancer screening and raise funds for research.
Actions in pharmacies
From October 1 to 31, 2023, Normandie Pharma pharmacists offered their customers a "Pink October" bracelet in exchange for a donation. All proceeds were donated to the fight against cancer!
This operation is also an opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of breast cancer screening, and more generally of prevention messages. Customers were invited, if they so wished, to ask questions and discuss the subject of breast cancer (screening, prevention, etc.) with pharmacy professionals.
Major support for the Centre Baclesse
On Tuesday January 30, 2024, Normandie Pharma presented a cheque for €10,000 to the team led by Dr EMILE Georges, medical oncologist and head of the breast unit at the Centre Baclesse, to support their work on triple-negative breast cancer : theTriplex clinical trial.
