A look back at... The 16th national congress on supportive cancer care organized byAFSOS - Association Francophone pour les Soins Oncologiques de Support!
From October 15 to 17 in Lille, France, this annual event was a must for healthcare professionals involved in oncology, and more specifically in the overall care of patients.
Several professionals from the Centre Baclesse took part:
- Dr. Audrey FAVEYRIAL – presentation of the poster "Benefits of integrating Cureety remote monitoring in oncology for the management of injectable treatments in day hospitals: OPTIMACURE, a prospective randomized multicenter study";
- Dr. Gwenn LE GALL – presentation on "toxicities of combination therapies in kidney cancer";
- Dr Stéphane BARDET - focus on the importance of coordination and supportive care in internal vectorized radiotherapy (IVR);
Supportive cancer care plays an essential role in supporting patients throughout their cancer journey, particularly in managing treatment-related toxicities.
The AFSOS congress highlights advances, innovative practices and inter-professional collaboration between caregivers, researchers, associations and partners, all committed to improving patients' quality of life.
