Missions
Cancer is an ordeal that calls into question an entire equilibrium, with repercussions for the whole person. Through various mechanisms or causes linked to the disease and its treatment, intimate life and sexuality can be disrupted. Pain, anxiety, fatigue, body modifications... are all causes of changes in intimate life.
The important thing is not to remain isolated in this difficulty: the challenge for caregivers is to offer you the opportunity to talk about intimacy and the problems encountered, so that together we can try to find appropriate solutions. It's essential to be informed and, above all, to dare to talk about it.
Care services
At the Centre, the oncology support service offers inpatient and outpatient services:
- A medical oncosexology consultation, for individuals or couples.
- Oncosexuality nursing consultation.
