Service mission
Interventional radiology covers all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed by a radiologist under the control of an imaging system. In particular, interventional radiology enables minimally invasive therapeutic procedures to be carried out under radiological control.
Care and Expertise
- Bone consolidation (cementoplasty or spondyloplasty, vertebroplasty, sacroplasty) and percutaneous screw fixation,
- Thermoablation :
- destruction of tumors by radiofrequency (heat treatment),
- destruction of tumors by cryoablation (cold treatment),
- Biopsies (lung, liver, kidney, soft tissue, lymph node, bone),
- Percutaneous gastrostomy GPR,
- Placement of DVI implantable chambers.
Service equipment
- 1 Siemens Confidence RT Pro shared scanner (2020). This scanner is located in the Radiology department, in a controlled environment and under conditions identical to those in an operating theatre.
- 1 Allura Phillips interventional radiology suite (2016), located in the Operating Room.
- 1 Toshiba ultrasound scanner.
