The Prefect of Calvados, who is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Centre François Baclesse, visited the facility.
He was able to meet the General Manager, Pr Roman Rouzier, the Deputy General Manager, Michael CANOVAS, and the entire management team. The three missions of the Centre Baclesse were discussed: care, teaching and research. Pr Roman Rouzier presented his strategic roadmap and his commitment to developing research.
The Prefect then visited the oncology day hospital, where all standard treatments, as well as the most innovative, are delivered: over 100 patients a day benefit from this facility.
Discussions focused on the importance of the excellent cancer care offered by Baclesse for all patients in Normandy.
