On July 9, 2025, the La Graverie soccer club presented a cheque for €2,500 to the Centre Baclesse. This donation, the result of a remarkable mobilization, will be used to improve the comfort and quality of life of patients at the Centre Baclesse.
A weekend of solidarity
Last May, the Club de Football de la Graverie and La Graverie Running joined forces to offer the second edition of their "Solidarity Weekend", an event open to all and dedicated to conviviality. The program was particularly varied, with something for everyone: a timed race, a solidarity walk (with registrations at €15 for runners and €10 for walkers respectively), and soccer tournaments for both seniors and children. The warm, festive atmosphere encouraged exchanges and reinforced the spirit of solidarity.
Beyond the sporting performance, this event highlighted the virtues of sport for health, while mobilizing participants around an important cause: the fight against cancer in Normandy. The evening continued with a concert followed by fireworks, offering everyone a moment of sharing and relaxation. Participants were also able to enjoy on-site catering, prolonging the conviviality throughout the weekend.
