On Thursday November 17, 2022, Chantal Rovarc'h, President of the Rotary Club of Bayeux, surrounded by 7 Rotarians, presented a cheque for €2,500 to Hermeline Delepouve, Director of Communications, Sponsorship and International Relations, to support research projects at the Centre Baclesse.
During the meeting, Madame Rovarc'h gave a brief overview of the Rotary Club's missions and commitments in the service of others. She praised the dynamism and dedication of Madeleine and Roland Heudier, who have been faithful to the Rotary motto "Service Above Self" for many years.
I joined the Club in 1975 ", says Roland Heudier. In Bayeux, a group of around twenty men and women are mobilized through actions such as flea markets, to raise funds to support the Centre Baclesse, and more broadly the fight against disease.
Hermeline Delepouve continued the discussion with a presentation of the teams and research projects at the Baclesse Center, as well as the supportive care department. "Donations are essential because they enable us to fund research and innovation projects and advance the fight against cancer," she said on this occasion.
