K'Roll, a patient at the Center, started drawing on pebbles (bought at garden centers) to escape and forget her illness. The enthusiasm of those around her for her creations gave her the idea of selling her customized pebbles to make a donation to Baclesse and further cancer research.

In March 2022, her first exhibition-sale enabled her to present us with a cheque for €1,051. Highly motivated and committed, K'Roll said on this occasion: " This is just the beginning, I'm going to keep going!

For Pink October 2022, she is once again painting a pink ribbon on pebbles, to raise awareness of breast cancer screening and raise funds for breast cancer research at the Centre Baclesse.
K'Roll is also offering its pebbles to shopkeepers in Valognes and neighboring towns for sale in their boutiques (€4 each). 14 shopkeepers have signed up to support this initiative. The pebbles are a real success, winning over customers and mobilizing them in the fight against cancer...

On Thursday November 17, 2022, K'Roll came to the Centre with pride and emotion to present a cheque for €1,599. Welcomed by the General Manager and the Patronage Department, K'Roll recounted the story that led her to pebble painting, which has now become a real passion for her. A rich and warm exchange during which Pr Mahé presentedORGAPRED's research projects. The donations collected by her and her partners will help support them.

K'Roll left the Center, promising to return soon...

With all our gratitude!
A huge THANK YOU to K'Roll for its energy and commitment.
