On Wednesday November 9, Jakotte Hernandez, president of the Jullouvillaises, and Nicole Laffeach, secretary of the Jullouvillaises, presented a cheque for €6,210 to the Centre Baclesse to support its research and supportive care initiatives, in the presence of Doctor Corinne Jeanne, pathologist at the Centre.
Les Jullouvillaises: longe-côte against cancer
Les Jullouvillaises was born in 2013 thanks to the energy of a few friends. The main aim is to raise awareness of breast cancer screening and raise funds to support the fight against cancer.
This pink October event, organized by Les Jullouvillaises in collaboration with the town of Jullouville, has become a not-to-be-missed event in south Manche.
The 2022 edition
For this 9th edition, a large pink wave of more than 600 people broke on the beach at Jullouville (Manche), in which Dr Corinne Jeanne took part with great enthusiasm, as well as in the longe côte outing. She also presented our research projects and our supportive care service. Many thanks to her for her much appreciated participation.
For this 2022 edition, the Jullouvillaises wanted to support the Centre Baclesse: 100% of registrations are donated to the Centre to help research and support care. The donation has been allocated 50% to cancer research, more specifically to the ORGAPRED project, and 50% to the support care department.
Many thanks to all of you!
