The Bobines d'Esquay-Notre-Dame association has once again mobilized to raise funds in support of the fight against cancer. For Pink October 2023, this sewing association organized a pink walk in support of the cause, and the sale of key-rings made by the association's seamstresses.
2 fundraising campaigns
The 35-strong (33 women and 2 men) 5km walk and key-ring sale raised €800, which was divided between the Comité du Calvados de la Ligue contre le cancer and the Centre Baclesse.
400 to support Baclesse
On Friday November 10, Karine GONY, president of the association, and Stéphanie OSMONT, secretary, presented a donation of €400 to support breast cancer research. Their donation will help fund a research project focusing on triple-negative breast cancer: the TRIPLEX clinical trial on the ORGAPRED platform.
