On Thursday November 9, 2023, AGEA Normandie, the professional chamber of general insurance agents, represented by Michel ONNEE, its president, presented Hermeline DELEPOUVE, director of communications and sponsorship, with a donation of €3,500 to support the Centre Baclesse.
3,500 for breast cancer research at the Centre Baclesse
The €3,500 "Pink October" donation, reserved for the Baclesse Center, supports research specifically focused on triple-negative breast cancer. the ORGAPRED project – "TRIPLEX" clinical trial. Michel ONNEE wishes to continue his involvement in this project. In fact, in 2022, €3,000 had already been raised by AGEA for the ORGAPRED platform.
The cheque presentation ended with a tour of the Centre Baclesse's research building, and in particular the ORGAPRED platform floor. Lucie LECOUFLET, assistant engineer, took the time to explain the work on "tumor organoids" to the attentive visitors, who were delighted to discover in concrete terms what their donations were supporting.
AGEA Normandie supports Pink October
For the 2nd year running, AGEA Normandie has joined forces with the Centre Baclesse and the Centre Becquerel in the fight against breast cancer. As in 2022, AGEA Normandie donated €3 for each provident policy signed during the month of October in all insurance offices in Normandy. This action raised the handsome sum of €7,000, €1,000 more than in 2022, which was divided between the two cancer centers in Normandy.
