From Friday November 26 to Tuesday November 30, 2021, the Centre François Baclesse will host the annual congress of the European Society for Radiation Research: ERRS 2021.
The Centre François Baclesse was chosen as the venue for this congress, given its capacity to accommodate visitors and its involvement in innovative developments in the application of ionizing radiation, in this case to health.
The existence of the ARCHADE scientific program and the presence of GANIL in Caen also drew attention to Normandy.
The Congress will be an opportunity to discuss challenges and share knowledge and experience, discover new research frontiers and generate new ideas, plans and collaborations.
We are expecting around a hundred researchers from all over Europe and a few countries outside Europe to take part in this congress.
The congress will be opened by Prof. Roberto ORECCHIA, Department of Radiation Oncology, IEO Milan, Italy. Speakers of international stature will take the floor during the three-day congress.
The local organizing committee, chaired by Prof. Siamak HAGHDOOST of Caen University, comprises 17 researchers, including Prof. Jacques BALOSSO and Dr. Mathieu CESAIRE of the Centre François Baclesse.
