Adriana DI COLA and Nadine SARABIA continue to support the Centre Baclesse through the Liber'Trail association, which they founded to raise funds and promote physical activity.
Running for a good cause
In 2024, Nadine and Adriana ran 400 km in July and 100 km in October, with the aim of supporting the Centre Baclesse and promoting physical activity. Passionate and generous, they multiply their fund-raising initiatives and raise awareness of physical activity!
On Friday January 24, they presented a cheque for €5,200 to Hermeline DELEPOUVE, Director of Communications and Fundraising, and Géraldine PAYEN, Donor Relations Manager, at the Centre Baclesse. The funds will be used to support breast cancer research and the work of the Centre's support care department.
Physical activity: a health ally!
Through their commitment, Adriana and Nadine demonstrate that physical activity is much more than a simple form of exercise: it is an essential lever for preserving and improving health, and strengthening resilience. When properly adapted, physical activity can provide invaluable support for cancer patients.
Physical activity is fundamental ! Before diagnosis, physical activity plays a preventive role by reducing the risk of certain cancers, boosting the immune system and maintaining a healthy weight. During treatment, exercise helps counter fatigue, improves mood and limits side effects such as pain and nausea. After cancer, physical activity is crucial for reducing the risk of recurrence, improving physical condition and quality of life, while combating anxiety and fatigue.
A HUGE THANK YOU & BRAVO
