On Monday February 3, 2025, the Rotary Club of Deauville welcomed the Centre François Baclesse to the Hotel Normandy in Deauville for the official presentation of a €5,000 donation. This sum, raised from the funds collected during the Week-end Rose organized last October, will help support our research actions in the fight against cancer.
A commitment to solidarity and sport
The Weekend Rose, organized on October 5 and 6, 2024 by the Rotary Club of Deauville, brought together a large number of participants for a series of sporting and solidarity events. Tennis and padel tournaments, a Pink Walk, a prevention and well-being village... all activities that raised public awareness of the importance of screening and support for cancer patients.
Thanks to the mobilization of organizers, partners and participants, this initiative raised essential funds for research and improved patient care.
An evening dedicated to innovation in oncology
During the donation ceremony, Pr Roman ROUZIER, General Director of the Centre François Baclesse, gave a talk on the latest advances in cancerology. This exchange of views provided an opportunity to present the therapeutic innovations that are transforming patient care and opening up new prospects for the future.
