The Baclesse Center would like to extend its warmest thanks to the Calvados Tennis Committee and the many tennis clubs that took part in the "Balles Roses" initiative.
The event, organized in conjunction with Pink October, raised funds to support the fight against cancer. The proceeds were divided equally between the Centre Baclesse and the Centre Maurice Tubiana.
This wonderful initiative, combining sport and solidarity, was a real moment of conviviality. Through the activities and meetings organized in the clubs, participants were able to share unique moments in a positive and caring atmosphere.
Sport, a valuable ally in the fight against cancer
Beyond the financial aspect, the "Balles Roses" initiative reminds usof the importance of physical activity, even when battling cancer. Numerous studies show that practicing an appropriate sport can help patients better tolerate treatment and contribute to a better quality of life.
