On Monday, December 23, 2024, the radiotherapy department at the Baclesse Center was delighted to welcome part of the "Sportifs ont du Coeur" team to the Cyclhad premises. This was the sixth time they had generously come to place gifts under our Christmas tree for our "super mini-patients." ."
An event of solidarity and sharing
The principle behind the event is simple: take part in a sporting activity in exchange for a gift for children in hospital and children's homes during the festive season. It involves a 7 km run or a 5 km walk in a fun and friendly atmosphere, starting from Decathlon Mondeville. Open to adults and children of all fitness levels, this 9th edition broke participation records despite inclement weather on December 8. The goal is to bring all "athletes" together for a day of sharing. As a result, 18 establishments in the region saw these cheerful Santa Clauses bring their packages.
Many thanks for their loyalty since 2019. Thanks to the generosity of these sportsmen and women, children treated with proton/radiotherapy at the end of their treatment will be able to be spoiled throughout the year.
