As a Centre de Lutte Contre le Cancer (CLCC), the Centre François Baclesse has a triple mission: care, research and teaching. Continuing professional development has been one of these activities since the early 90s.

This training program specializes in the care of cancer patients. It is aimed at both salaried and self-employed healthcare professionals involved in the care of these patients, whether in healthcare institutions, private practices, care centers or at home.
The aim is to make the care pathway safer for patients diagnosed and treated for cancer, and thus strengthen the "city-hospital" link, i.e. communication and interaction between the various healthcare professionals involved with the patient.
It also helps to disseminate good clinical practice and inform professionals about therapeutic innovations in oncology.

" In 2021, 150 healthcare professionals benefited from these skills development initiatives. This compares with an average of 280 per year before the health crisis. Face-to-face training sessions have resumed, while incorporating new digital learning methods ", explains Lucile DÉBONNAIRE, coordinator of the teaching department.

The training courses are provided mainly by a panel of doctors, healthcare managers, care professionals (nurses, radio manipulators, dieticians, nursing aids) and social workers (social assistants, psychologists), who have developed expertise in their field and teaching skills. A three-person administrative team, a dedicated space with three training rooms and an amphitheatre, and a catering service complete the training organization's facilities.

QUALIOPI certification obtained for 3 years

Audited on September 30, 2021, the Centre François Baclesse obtained QUALIOPI certification without any non-conformities.

Certification is awarded for a period of three years, from 2022 to 2024.
The audit identified a number of strengths: a structured quality approach, cross-functionality between the various players, ongoing training for trainers, and the collection of feedback from all stakeholders.

"It's a real source of pride for us to be certified without any non-conformities. It's further proof of the excellence of our teaching service, which, let's not forget, has already been assessed during the European Comprehensive Cancer Centre accreditation," says Laurence Picard, Quality Director of the Centre François Baclesse.

The Centre François Baclesse's continuing education offer

What is QUALIOPI?

Qualiopi is the quality guarantee mark for providers of skills development programs, i.e. training organizations.

Introduced following the 2018 vocational training reform law, the "Qualiopi" mark aims to attest to the quality of the process implemented by training organizations and enable greater legibility of the training offering for companies and users.

The "Qualiopi" mark is issued by a certification body accredited by the French Accreditation Committee (Cofrac). Certification is obtained after an audit based on a single national quality reference framework common to all training organizations.

This standard is organized around 7 quality criteria:

  1. Conditions for informing the public about the services on offer, the time needed to access them and the results obtained.
  2. Precise identification of the objectives of the services offered and the adaptation of these services to the beneficiaries, when designing the services.
  3. Adaptation of services and reception, support, monitoring and evaluation methods to the target audience.
  4. Suitability of teaching, technical and supervisory resources for the services provided.
  5. Qualification and development of the knowledge and skills of the staff responsible for providing the services.
  6. The service provider's involvement and investment in his professional environment.
  7. Collection and consideration of feedback and complaints from stakeholders. Qualiopi" certification is valid for 3 years following the positive outcome of the initial audit.
