The Baclesse Center is continuing its commitment to improving access to information and care with its innovative "Baclesse&Vous" project, a mobile unit designed to inform, raise awareness, and support residents of the former Lower Normandy region on cancer-related issues.
On board this specially equipped truck, health coaches and various professionals from the Baclesse Center offer:
- Primary prevention actions (information on risk factors, awareness of screening),
- Support for patients and their families (psychosocial support, referral to local resources),
- Stronger regional coverage thanks to partnerships with medical-social, associative and healthcare players.

Free and accessible to all, this first-of-its-kind scheme in Normandy aims to reduce inequalities in access to information and support, by getting as close as possible to local residents, including in rural and isolated areas.
Already a finalist for several national awards and winner of the Ruban Rose Award – Quality of Life 2024, "Baclesse&Vous" is fully in line with the national strategy to combat cancer.
"With 'Baclesse&Vous', we reach out to patients, their loved ones, and the general public to offer them a listening ear, information, and guidance that is closely tailored to their daily lives," emphasizes Dr. Carine SEGURA-DJEZZAR, medical oncologist and head of the Patients&Loved Ones Area.
