Your room

Let us know your room requirements

In conventional hospitalization, you can be hospitalized in a room with one or two beds.

If you ask to occupy a single room, the daily supplement may be billed to your health insurance company, up to the limit of its coverage.

To let us know your room preferences:
→ Fill in and sign the electronic form sent by e-mail to: chambre.particulière@baclesse.unicancer.fr
→ You will be consulted onlyonce a year. Your choice applies to the current calendar year, subject to department availability.
→ Private rooms are always billed directly to your mutual insurance company, if you have one, without any further action on your part and with no out-of-pocket expenses for you. The Center will make all requests for reimbursement free of charge to your mutual insurance company.

SECURITY OF YOUR MONEY AND VALUABLES
It is not advisable to bring money, jewelry or other valuables. Your personal belongings are your responsibility.
The Centre François Baclesse cannot be held responsible for any theft.
If necessary, you can deposit them with the Centre's treasurer (ask the staff in the department where you are staying).

The telephone

Rooms are equipped with a telephone, so you can be called free of charge from outside.

Television

During conventional hospitalization, you may have access to a package of television channels. A single rate applies, payable by you or your mutual insurance company.

Reservations and payment: at the Café & Compagnie cafeteria on the ground floor of the Centre.

Visits

Opening hours

Visitors are allowed on hospital floors from 1pm to 8pm, except :

  • No visitors: in restricted area on the 7th hospital floor.

Rules to observe

To avoid infecting yourself, the people who visit you must, like you, follow a few rules:

  1. Follow the mask-wearing instructions posted in the establishment, including in your room.
  2. Rub hands with hydro-alcoholic solution when entering and leaving the room.
  3. Postpone their visit if they are ill (cold, gastroenteritis...) or accompanied by fragile or ill children. If the visit cannot be postponed, inform the team and ask them what measures to apply.
  4. Limit the number of visitors to rooms (the more people, the more germs).
  5. Use the public toilets rather than those in your room, and sit on the chairs rather than the bed.
  6. Respect the instructions given by the care team.
  7. To guarantee the quality and safety of the care you receive, visitors must leave the room during treatment, and only professionals are authorized to touch medical equipment.
  8. The soil in potted plants contains microbes that can be dangerous to your health : ask your friends and family to bring you something else (cut flowers, sweets, books...).

Family and patient lounge

All hospital wards on the Centre's floors have a family lounge, open 24 hours a day. It's a welcoming place for you and your loved ones.

Accommodation and meals for accompanying persons

In some cases, in-house accommodation is available for accompanying persons. Ask your care team for details.

Paid accommodation is also available close to the Center. Solutions are also available for patients referred for proton therapy. Please contact the radiotherapy department: 02 31 45 50 20.

Your loved ones can also eat at the Centre François Baclesse. Meal tickets can be purchased from the Admissions Office, located in the entrance hall. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
