The Centre de Traitement des Données (CTD) is a platform of the Centre François Baclesse, supported by the Cancéropôle Nord-Ouest, accredited by INCa in 2007 and by the Ligue Nationale contre le Cancer since 2006.

The team
- Manager: Brice DUBOIS
The CTD-CNO team comprises 7 permanent staff, biostatisticians and data managers, all affiliated with the Centre François Baclesse. It regularly welcomes 1 to 3 university trainees.
Activities
The CTD-CNO's missions are to provide :
- methodological expertise for the design of protocols and observation notebooks;
- IT logistical support to guarantee the quality of the data collected;
- statistical expertise for analyzing results and helping to make the most of them.
CTD has been ISO 9001: 2015 certified for its data management activities since November 2017.

Technical resources
The data managers at Cancéropôle Nord-Ouest's Data Processing Center are experts in biomedical research data management, and have several years' experience in the development of electronic CRFs (Case Report Forms), both in terms of design and conception on various software packages, currently Ennov ClinicalTM (FDA- and EMA-compliant).
The CTD-CNO provides users with ultra-secure network access to the management software (personal logins and passwords) and guarantees data continuity (daily backups, storage on two servers in different locations, encrypted data transmission).
For statistical analysis, the software packages SASTM, R and StataTM are widely used at CTD-CNO, both for their computing power, the completeness of their procedures and their development possibilities. For analyses on small samples, where asymptotic methods are limited, StatXactTM and LogXactTM can also be used.
For statistical methodology, various tools are available for calculating the number of subjects required: nQueryAdvisorTM, nTerimTM and nPIITM. For biomedical research based on an original statistical design, various methods for calculating the number of subjects using Monte-Carlo methods have also been developed in R.
For genomic data analysis, the PLINK, SamTools and R-bioconductor software suites are used to couple bioinformatics data processing with statistical analysis.
