It was with broad smiles that the Cyclos d'Habloville (61) crossed the finish line in La Rochelle on May 11. After 8 days of hard work and over 600 kilometers of cycling, they had completed their challenge: linking Ouistreham (14) to La Rochelle (17) along the Vélo Francette in support of the Centre Baclesse in Caen.
A sports and solidarity challenge
Setting off from Ouistreham on May 4, the cyclists, accompanied on the1st stage by several professionals from the Baclesse Center and by Pr Roman ROUZIER, General Manager, made a symbolic stop at the Baclesse Center.
The aim of this adventure was twofold: to complete a sporting challenge and to raise funds for the Centre Baclesse. To date, the online kitty has already raised nearly €2,500, which will be used to finance distraction equipment for children undergoing radiotherapy.
