Pierre Victor set himself a personal challenge: to cycle 400 km across the English Channel:
"You have to ride to move forward" is the name he gave to his adventure.
His challenge is also one of solidarity, as he has raised funds to support cancer research at the Centre François Baclesse, via an online donation kitty and the support of a few anonymous supporters.
Supported by local partners, on July 9 Pierre Victor left the Centre on his recumbent bike to criss-cross the roads of northern Manche. His journey took him through villages such as Barfleur, Surtainville and Portbail, and ended on July 16 with a return trip to Caen.
On Tuesday July 25, Pierre Victor presented the Centre Baclesse with a donation of €1,030 to support its cancer research initiatives.
Many thanks and bravo to him!
