Carole, a patient at the Center, started drawing on pebbles (bought at garden centers) to escape and forget her illness. The enthusiasm of those around her for her creations gave her the idea of selling her customized pebbles to make a donation to Baclesse and further cancer research.

On March 4 and 5, Carole, aka K'Roll, organized an exhibition of her decorative pebbles at Léa Beauté, the beauty salon run by her friend Léa Letenneur. Her pebbles were a great success, with many generous buyers helping her to raise €1,051.
Carole contacted the Communications, International Relations and Philanthropy Department, and on March 18 came to officially present a cheque for this amount to Mr Mahé and Géraldine Payen. For her, the moment was filled with emotion and pride at being able to offer this cheque to the Centre Baclesse, and thus support, in her own way, the fight against cancer. "It's a symbolic and meaningful gesture," she confided.
Carole has already announced "This is just the beginning, I'm going to keep going".
A huge THANK YOU to her for her generosity and support!
