Since February 12, 2026, the Atrium in Rouen has been hosting “Destination AI: The Exhibition That Breaks the Mold in Normandy, an immersive exhibition dedicated to artificial intelligence and digital technology.

Developed by Science Action Normandie, the exhibition invites visitors—ages 7 and up—to explore and examine these ubiquitous technologies through hands-on activities, videos, and interactive exhibits.

Two experts from the Baclesse Center— Professor Roman Rouzier, the center’s director general, and Aurélien Corroyer-Dulmont, head of the AI division—contributed to the project by producing a video on the applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare.

Exploring the uses of digital technology in Normandy

The exhibition is divided into two main sections. The first, “Connected in Normandy, highlights the impact of digital technology across a wide range of sectors: healthcare, food, agriculture, transportation, manufacturing, security, and entertainment. Developed in collaboration with more than 70 experts from Normandy, it provides concrete examples of how digital technologies are already transforming our daily lives and opening up new possibilities.

AI: Between Promise and Questions

The second section, “AI: Double Je,” developed by the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie and the Quai des Savoirs, invites visitors to explore the dual nature of artificial intelligence. Spanning technological advancements, ethical considerations, limitations, and potential risks, five interactive modules help visitors move beyond common misconceptions and examine our relationship with these tools.

Both entertaining, educational, and thought-provoking, “Destination AI” is aimed at families, school groups, and anyone who wants to better understand the digital transformations shaping our society.

Through its involvement, the Baclesse Center helps make the challenges of artificial intelligence in healthcare more accessible—a rapidly growing field that opens up new possibilities for research, diagnosis, and patient care.
