On Saturday May 21 and Sunday May 22, the "Au grès du temps" pottery garden in Montsenelle, Manche, opened its doors in aid of the Centre Baclesse.
Isabelle Bazire and Thierry Jeanne created this exceptional garden over 20 years ago. For one weekend, they decided to open it up to raise funds for the Centre François Baclesse (Admission: €4 per adult).
They handed over a donation of 357 euros to the Centre Baclesse, representing the total amount of admission fees collected, in support of breast cancer research.
The Jardin de la Poterie is a wonderful place to stroll in the heart of the Parc des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin, where a mild, temperate climate enables many exotic species from Australia, Chile, New Zealand and South Africa to thrive.
Walkers were able to discover the luxuriant and diversified vegetation of this collector's garden. They were able to observe and appreciate beds teeming with multiple species, climbers, old roses, shrubs and many rare species (a collection of around 650 plants).
Isabelle Bazire and Thierry Jeanne share their love of plants and nature. A true moment of relaxation and a pleasure for the senses!
Many thanks to them for their support and generosity!
