On October 12, 2024, the association Les Bobines d'Esquay organized a 5 km pink walk, bringing together 45 participants at Place de l'École in Esquay-Notre-Dame (14). The walk, part of the Pink October campaign, not only raised public awareness of breast cancer screening, but also raised funds to support the Centre Baclesse.
610 cheque presented to Centre Baclesse
45 participants, dressed in pink, walked through the village streets in a spirit of solidarity and festivity. For the occasion, the school square in Esquay-Notre-Dame was decorated in pink. A symbolic setting to encourage participation in the walk and raise awareness of the importance of breast cancer screening.

At the end of the walk, Stéphanie OSMONT and Hélène DEBARRE from the association were pleased to present a cheque for €610 to Géraldine PAYEN, in charge of donor relations at the Centre Baclesse. The donation is intended to fund breast cancer research carried out by researchers and doctors at the Centre Baclesse.
Active mobilization since March 2023
Sincetheir commitment in March 2023, Stéphanie OSMONT and Hélène DEBARRE, from Les Bobines d'Esquay, have been multiplying their initiatives against cancer. Their aim is to raise awareness and funds to support Baclesse. Events include pink walks, a pétanque moustache with the slogan "Faites gaffe à vos boules, les gars!" and several races.
Their determination and initiative make them ambassadors in the fight against cancer. " We don't give up," says Stéphanie OSMONT. Thanks to their constant efforts, they have already raised a total of €2,500 to finance important projects at the Centre Baclesse.
