Replacing furniture has become essential for patient comfort

The surgery department, located on^{the first} floor of the Baclesse Center, and the nuclear medicine department, located on the ground floor, have recently undergone renovations designed to improve the daily experience for patients. Updating the furniture had become essential in order to provide equipment that is better suited, more comfortable, and better meets the needs of both patients and healthcare staff.

Modernized reception areas

On^{the first} floor of the Baclesse Center, in the surgical ward, the room furnishings have been completely updated with the installation of modern, ergonomic armchairs, chairs, tables, and nightstands. This new equipment provides greater comfort and convenience for inpatients, while creating a warmer and more soothing atmosphere.

On the ground floor, in the nuclear medicine department, the waiting room now features new, modern chairs, allowing patients to wait in greater comfort before their exams. New injection chairs have also been purchased toimprove patient care during procedures. More comfortable and functional, they allow patients to adopt a more suitable position during injections. Their design also makes the caregivers’ work easier by facilitating better patient positioning and more precise care procedures, leading to a more relaxed care experience.
In the cancer care journey, the environment plays an important role. Waiting times, hospital stays, and treatments can be taxing; having welcoming and comfortable spaces helps improve the experience for patients and their loved ones.
Beyond their practical function, these new amenities help create a more serene and pleasant environment within the hospital . They also demonstratethe attention paid to quality of life during care.
