Missions
Stoma therapy is a specialty that involves caring for patients :
- with an ostomy (pouch),
- suffering from fecal or urinary continence disorders.
Care services
At the Centre, stoma therapists work with inpatients, outpatients and healthcare professionals to :
- to provide additional information to that given by the surgeon prior to surgery, and to present post-operative care,
- monitor patients during hospitalization and after their return home,
- advise and train Center professionals in ostomy care management.
Thanks to the expertise of our stoma nurses, this specialized care enables us to support patients in managing their stoma, and make them independent in their daily care, so preserving their quality of life.
